Well not dollar, pounds.

What sort of budget do I need.

Looking at watercooling my cpu.

So how much do i need for that?

Rads
Tube
Fittings
Liquid?
Cpu Block
Pump
Res

And anything else

Thanks

Depends on whether you want ultimate performance or not, how many and what size radiators your case can take.

I would say for a basic loop with a single 240mm radiator and just cooling the CPU, it would cost about £250.

For a high end full loop you could spend anything up to about £800, probably more.

I managed to cool my Q6600 with a 240 rad, a decent cpu block and fittings for about £130 :) Was all brand new too.

TJ07 case

i5 2500k
Asus P67 Le mobo
4gb Ramc corsair
6950
650w psu
Sata HD & SSD
Loads of 1900 rpm sycthe fans, fan controller.

The idea is, in the next month or so. To crossfire and get an 850W

TJ07 is a babe for watercooling! :D

It is one of the very few cases with a dedicated space for a 480mm radiator.

So what do you plan on cooling?

TJ07 is good but require modding to make it a truly good WC case. An 800D is a far better choice for minimal fuss and "out the box" watercooling.

Don't say that. Sold my 800D :p

Don't like the looks of an 800D any more any way.

Maybe just a pipe dream. As been looking and I think GPU water blocks are gonna be expensive :(

^^ will easily start you off on a decent water loop, the 360 rad will probably suffice for crossfired 6950's too, so all you'd need to add is say a 120 or a 240 for the cpu loop if and when you upgrade :)

add some Distilled water from your local halfords for 3 quid per 5 litres and you'll be sorted lol

Thanks vv Jordan :p

Aye, was waiting for somone to recommend one of those kits. Next build I might see about using one of those kits, they look great for beginners.

Best thing to do is think about the max you want to spend then go for it.

If you want high spec its going to cost ya.

If you can get used rad.s res and blocks then that will save you loads and there not going to break but i would get tubes and pumps new

if you get a good rad and pump you might as well cool your gpu as well

what is your budget.

when we say high spec, do you want your tj07 looking like mine or are you not bothered about aesthetics and just want best bang for buck
