How much dollar do I need?

what is your budget.

when we say high spec, do you want your tj07 looking like mine or are you not bothered about aesthetics and just want best bang for buck

I want it to look epic :)

Have you got a link to yours?

I am not looking to chill a beast or push over clocking to the extreme.

It is something I would like to do. If I don't do it this year, I doubt it will ever happen :)

Budget would be £300-£400 for water cooling

Swiftech Laing D5 Vario MCP655 12V DC Pump £79.99
Hardware Labs Black ICE SR-1 360 Radiator £71.99
EK Supreme HF CPU Waterblock - Nickel Acetal **EN Nickel Plating** £55.99
EK Multioption Reservoir X2 150 Advanced [3831109840078] £32.36
Masterkleer Tubing PVC 7/16" ID [16/11mm] Clear/UV Blue £4.00 x3
Bitspower Matt Black 1/2" High Flow Barb (G1/4") £3.25 x6

total 273.84

not much will beat that for performance will need water or different color tubing

This would be my ideal set up:
D5 pump with top
EK Multioption RES X2
EK Supreme HF
EK-FC6970 - you will need the reference design for this to fit
SR-1 480 with Gentle Typhoon AP-15's in push-pull
Own choice of tubing & fittings
Distilled + kill coil

Not sure if this will fit in to your budget though. :p

£103 on fans is a little excessive...but Gentle Typhoon AP-15's are the best!

Christ I think water cooling will have to go on the back burner then for the moment.

Didn't realise it was so expensive :(

Save up - going cheap on watercooling will not be fun! ;)

Personally, I would watercool my GPU when the new generations comes out as all the boards will be of reference design (which is needed if you want to use a full cover block).

Water cooling in my mind is not going to be a one shot wonder, fire and forget type of a thing. It is a growing, evolving art form!
You can start from not having those expensive fans(£103!) and putting some Yate loon or F12 fans, Instead of the Full cover GPU block going for the VGA Core only block, and instead of the Bitspower fittings going for EK or Phobya fittings. Sure it will not look so "Cool" as the others but you will have time to "Evolve" (With more money ofc).
I always manage to fork out some funds when my loop is in need of a strip down for maintenance, so that I can reassemble it with some "Upgrades".
It is to me a never ending project! :)

Wait till u have the cash so u can get the best parts for looks and performance, if ur not too bothered about either of these points then u can go cheaper but i think u will find it's worth the wait.
