Dear god I am not going to add it all up, but suffice to say probably spent around £30-35k to build and tittivate over the last 7 years.
Tax - £165/yr
Insurance - 325 f/c limited 5k miles (not that it ever sees 5k miles!)

I'm going to regret doing this...

1996 Honda Prelude 2.2 VTEC, owned car for 1 year

Car: £1750
Insurance: £1140 (1000 first 10 months, 700 for following 10 months, so i'll take it pro-rata ;))
Exhaust: £200
Tax: £170
Tyres: £150
Bodykit/leather/air con: £465 (bought complete car with knackered engine)
MOT: £35
Servicing parts: £400 (6 oil/filter changes, cam-belt+tensioner, brake pads all round, plugs etc)
Servicing labour: £0
CarPC: £150 (new motherboard/CPU/RAM, had everything else already)
Fuel: ~£2000 (14,000 miles @ 30mpg)

Total: £5320

Got tax/MOT due @ end of month, so that's another £210, that'll be counted in next year's running costs ;)

From that calculations, I reckon it'll cost just over £3000 a year to run the car from now on, that's fuel/servicing/insurance/tax/mot etc.

Mother of god  its actually possible to spend well over £10k on a 1.2 corsa
Quite a few optional extras, so yes... lets just put the purchase blame on insurance prices and leave it at that ;)

And why the **** did you fit parking sensors to a corsa?!
I don't trust my dad's reversing instincts, though he has never had an accident before :o
