How much has your council tax gone up this year?

Just had my bill through. It’s a total rise of 4.8% - thought that was pretty high? Seems to be a 12.4% increase for policing the area.

Just curious as to what people thought.

Huh seems pretty similar across the board then. In real money for me, and I live in the second lowest band, it’s an ~£80 increase. It’s quite a lot really.

How many bin collections do you get? We have one black bin every fortnight (which with 2 adults and two cats gets full every time). Recycling every week.

Wow I presume you must live in a pretty big house / have a high band - that’s a huge increase!!! Assuming you have the whole ‘don’t pay for two months’ it’s £300 :eek:
