How much have you spent on Apple products and what are those Products?

I'm not trolling. I tried to make the move over to apple, bought their top of the line 2011 iMac and ipad 2 and was not impressed. Great software, but too many build quality issues for my liking. Products were good, but for the money, not good enough. I'm sure all your apple gear is faultless and you stroke it every morning

Ah, the mark of any amateur troll.

I'm not telling how much I've spent, otherwise someone might come round and rob my house.

iPod Touch 4G 8GB - £189
Powermac G5 - £120 and about £100 on upgrades (Sold for £250)
iBook G4 800MHz - £60, sold for £120
iMac 20" 2.4GHz - £430 + £20 RAM + £30 Magic Mouse + £20 Wireless Keyboard
iBook 1.42GHz - £40

Which all comes to about a grand, the cost of a brand new iMac or Macbook Pro.

iPad 2 16GB, £399
iPhone 8GB 1st gen, £179 when o2 sold them off - which I'm still using because the Orange San francisco I replaced it with broke.

I was going to buy a mac mini a few years ago, then they went mental with the price.

See now you're just trolling.

You started off like you actually had a point. But then you had to resort to cheap insults.

As opposed to your own cheap insult calling him a troll when all he said was he didn't like what he'd bought so returned it. The fanboys in this section are ridiculous. I got my ass chewed out when I said that the iPhone 4 should have come with a dual core processor. But the very same people who chewed me out will be the ones proclaiming "OH GOD STEVE JOBS KNEW EXACTLY WHEN TO PUT DUAL CORE CPUS IN OUR PHONES!" when the iPhone with one lands. And his complaints about iMac screens are completely valid since there was a huge number of returns due to iMac screen yellowing. Google it.

Not every single person is going to be swept away by Apples products. And those that aren't, aren't trolls.

I agree with what he said.

Products were good, but for the money, not good enough.

Which is why I only buy refurb or second hand if I can.

And considering your post in this thread, why do you buy refurb? Do you buy refurb because you feel the products don't warrant the price they command new, or are you just cheap?

iPod 20gb x2 (both dead)
1st gen Mac Mini (sold)
iPod 60gb (dead)
Big gap due to irrational theological hatred of all things Apple
iPod Nano 6g (won through letter of week in Heat in December 2010, thanks to wife's dislike of Cheryl Cole)
iPad2 16gb wifi
Mac Mini i5 2.5 /w Radeon 6630
Airport Extreme
iMac 27" and Macbook Air 13" coming soon, maybe an iPhone too, depending on the next few weeks' news updates

Cost-wise, the iPods were book price at the time. Nano was free, since I made Heat editorial team laugh by taking the piiiiii out of Cheryl Cole. The new/recent Mini was funded by selling my gaming beast.... I'll be funding the newer stuff on impending birthday and by getting rid of boxes of unused/unwanted PC bits and pieces.

Hmmm .... no idea of the costs now but from memory (not including keyboards and mice/remotes)

iPod Video(?) 80gb (Given to Dad who still uses it)
iPod Touch 16GB (Gen1 - still used daily)
Apple TV (Gen1 - got over £180 on 'bay for it 18 months later!)
iPad 16GB Wifi (Gen1 - won this in a draw at work :))
Mac Mini 1.42GHz G4 (Again got silly money for it on the 'bay in early 2009)
Mac Mini (early 2009 - still in daily use, in fact I'm typing this on it now)
Mac Mini (late 2010 - got off 'bay in Jan '11 from someone who had decided to get a iMac instead .. mint condition and a couple of months old for ~£200 off retail at the time)

I'm considering replacing the Touch depending on what the next model is like (although I may wait for the one after)
