How much have you spent on fireworks?

Spent £3 going to a display where I work a lot cheaper, tho u do miss out on the fun on lighting them urself and running away like u do in the garden!

Nothing this year, other people had bought more than enough though.

The most spent was on a big single fuse display box for New year's eve 1999, £110 reduced from £200 since it didn't sell

Went to Werneth Lowe for a bit. Why spend money on fireworks when you can see every one else's in Greater Manchester for free

We also got a light show from a pair of fire engines at about 9 oclock. Apparently a stray firework/spark/ember landed on a load of rubbish bins outside a neighbours house.

I bought a big box and some seperate ones, £22 total and my 'rents bought a small box + some rockets. No doubt my brother will buy some too, they are mostly for my niece and nephew though

£5 got 5 small rockets, 1 big ass rocket, 10 sparklers and a big cannon thing!

And another £0 here. Quite gutted really.

Took the g/f into Tescos the other evening, thinking I'd pick a few up boxes while we were there and was completely stunned at the prices - £60 for what was only a reasonalbly small box. Now I've been acused of burning money on silly things in the past, but...

Luckily my friends aren't as stingy as I am, maybe next year

About £40 - we had a kids Halloween party last week and had some fire works at the same time. Went down very well.

I'm not goinf to deny that it's money gone in a puff. but that's not much different to anything else really.

well we personally bought some £10 rockets, but our friend is firework crazy and bought this lot:

Cost him £280 and they were awesome - even better that we didn't pay for them \o/

in my whole life i think is have spent 20 quid on fireworks... dont really see the point in them. and besides im skint anyway just bought my new system. my borther on the other hand makes his own... well there not fireworks, just lots of match heads, crushes them up, fills a matchbox and sets it on fire.... he even bought fuse wire :eek:

he is passed that phase now

I spent £0. But the Fenham area in Newcastle was under constant bombardment from about 3pm til midnight, and the students were still setting them off when I left the house at 8.15 this morning. The amount of money people have launched into the air in the last month round here must be ludicrous. Every year it sounds like a war zone from the start of october til mid november!

nothing. ive neither had the time or the will to do anything about fireworks this year. maybe next year.
