How much is a cleaner?

We pay our cleaner £10 an hour for 3 hours every week. Thats to do two bathrooms, three bedrooms, kitchen and lounge.

Worth every penny.
 
We advertised at the local Uni for students looking for cleaning work. We got an absolutely brilliant girl who does 5 hours per week for us. She does cleaning and all of our ironing as well and we pay her $85 per week so about 40 quid or so or 8 pounds an hour.

We'll be gutted when she finally graduates because she's so good. Also, fit like you wouldn't believe :)

Any of you peeps who use cleaning services, arent afraid if they walk away with say a mobile phone or watch or perhaps something less significant if you we'rent using it everyday for example?

(I know the obvious thing to say is that cleaning services would not be in business if they employed untrustworthy people...)

Definitely worth checking reputation/references, we might have just got unfortunate but we've had a terrible run of luck with cleaners at work, one lot stole laptops and the direct replacement for that was found to be ordering large quantities of bleach and other stuff that the police suspect was drug related.
