I really have no idea.

2004 dCi100 (100bhp model), good condition 3 door in blue.

Maintained following the Renault schedule by Renault then independent.

New clutch and timing belt/water pump done within the past 10k miles.

2 owners. Drives without fault. 60+mpg, £30 to tax. MOT till July.

BUT.......it's done 178,000 miles.

I'm thinking it's not worth selling as it'll save wear and tear on the other cars, taking stuff to the tip etc. etc.

What do we reckon?

Keep it. If its still working as well as you have mentioned, and with the recent amount of work you have had done, it would be silly to get rid.

Keep it until it dies beyond repair, then scrap it.

I reckon you would still get around a grand for that.

If you want to do a deal with a 2002 plate Clio 172 with half the miles let me know.

Love Clios but I've already got three cars. Thanks for the offer.

People who like Clios do like the dCi100 it seems, they have similar economy as the lesser powered versions when driven normally but can keep up with your average repmobile too.

If you can prove it's not about to throw an injector/pump/turbo failure then about a grand.

Otherwise, good luck :)

Yeah it's doing alright.

Last commute of 160 miles from door to door at a target cruising speed of 70mph yielded 70.4mpg.

Helped by the roadworks at 50mph, the average speed was 56mph.

PS. Obc is generous to the tune of 2mpg approximately.

fuel economy is certainly impressive, so taking the obc into account your commuting 160 miles on less than 2 1/2 gallons of fuel. certainly not to be sniffed at
