That's for video editing and not gaming though, with a 32GB RAM disk.

Got 8 in the spec in sig, but moving to X99 and the bundle I bought came with 16gb which is handy.

I have 16GB and it's more than enough for any of the latest games. I'd say 8GB is ok for now, but I bought 16GB anyway as it was on offer at the time (Kingston HyperX Fury).

If you can afford 16gb then no reason not to get it

Pondered this one two and whilst 8gb has been fine for my gaming needs I've just ordered 16gb with the 8gb going into a budget build.
