How much mhz do I need on 760 to get about 770 performance?

A stock 760 with 980 on clock, if thats so 1200mhz, would be enough...But mine 760 twin frozr boosts up to 1228mhz and its still far away from 770 tho.

None of the Nvidia cards run at stock clocks. 20% faster when both running boost clocks. So if your card is pushing 1228mhz when boosting, then you'd need another 20% ontop of that, as the 770s also run a decent out the box boost.

Quite difficult to do, the 760 is basically a 670 with a bit chopped off and over clocking to make up for it, because of this it's already over clocked so your limited as to what extra you can get out of it. The 770 by comparison is an over clocked 680 with nothing cut off, you might be able to get the 760 to over clock to 680 levels but 770 would be a bit of a stretch, some reviewers did manage it though with MSI HAWK and EVGA SC 760's, if I remember right they were clocking around 1220MHz on the core.

Of course this is against a reference 770, you won't be able to match aftermarket ones with a 760.
