How much my SV worth?

haha its still a bargain anyway ;)

Not really. There are other SVs of a similar age with tax and ticket up for £2200. £2k will ride those home at this time of year.
I doubt very much someone is going to take a punt on a SV with no tax or ticket and is a non-standard colour that's only £600 under book. If it was £999, yeah, maybe.

I still can't fathom why you don't MoT it unless there's something seriously wrong with it which would cause it to fail. That would be my assumption if I was looking for one and stumbled across your advert.

Look at it this way. Who is your potential customer?
First big bike buyer? Not going to buy a bike with no T&T
Trader who will fix it up? Not cheap enough for there to be a decent profit in it
Dispatch rider? Maybe
Person wanting a winter hack? Will buy something cheaper with T&T

I saw this on SV650.org! My mate is in the process of buying a Bandit, but if the deal falls through then I'll point him your way.

You really need to MoT it though.

Your advert does sound a bit dodgy if I'm honest. The fact that the previous owner sprayed the bike, then you sprayed the fairings and added GSXR mirrors all point to the fact that it's probably been down the road at some point as they're all items which would be damaged in a spill. Maybe the exhaust was damaged too at the same time.

It might be a completely genuine bike but all those facts make it sounds really dubious.

Dont know why some people cant fathom a good deal, its been SORN for 1.5 years, and I want rid of it asap as im converting garage to a gym. Bikes completly genuine, i sprayed fairings and tank just because I wanted to paint it matt black.

But why don't you MoT it? You will get more money for it.

For the sake of £30 for an MOT you'll make selling 10x easier. As it stands it looks like you have something to hide by not MOTing it. Without an MOT it just looks like there's a huge bill waiting to happen.
It's not like a bike MOT is particularly stringent anyway but it just makes your bike more appealing to potential buyers.

Because it wont simply pass an MOT, needs a service(brake fluid is dark) plus indicators fixed, ontop of this ill need insurance to take it also. But I hear what you guys are saying, if it doesnt go in the next few days ill just get it MOT'ed etc.

Halfords Autocentre.

Type into Google "half priced MOT" - click on first sponsored link. Should be £27 at the moment. Click book now and go through the motions, then look out for "Enter Discount Code" or something like that and type in "HP-MOT" which will make it £13.50, then they also give 10% Xmas discount too.

Go through Quidco and you'll get another 5% off - making a £54 MOT a grand total of £11.60
