How much of a difference does a new clutch make to a 11 year old car?

I have an 11 year old Focus. It's done 118k miles. There's nothing wrong with it except from what I think is the clutch. Perhapds I'm being paranoid but I feel that when changing gears I need to give a lot more gas for a small increase in speed. i.e. Revs climb, speed doesnt.

This isn't frequent but I'm sure that's a common sign of a clutch on its way out?

When I do replace the clutch is it adviseable to change anything else whilst "the mechanic is down there." Flywheel perhaps?

How much of a difference does a new clutch make on a car?

Thank you :)

If the revs go up and the speed doesnt then it can only be the clutch.

Flywheel should be fine and the only other thing to replace would the be the concentric slave cylinder.

When you're stopped at a traffic light with a gear engaged and the clutch down, does the car pull forward slightly? If it does, it is another sympton of a broken/bad clutch.
