Hey guys,

Ok, so I'm on a budget and I need to get all my computer parts ordered by January 2nd (long story)

Anyway, I was going to get the BeQuiet 530w Power Supply for my system, (specs below) however, it has now gone out of stock which is why I now have a bit of a problem. I cannot find a decent branded power supply for around that same price.

Would this PSU be able to power these parts pretty easily?

Cooler Master GX 450W '80 Plus' Power Supply

It's cheaper and the money I save on that I can buy a pretty sweet gaming headset with. :D

Im not planning on overclocking, however, in the future I would like to either upgrade my processor from Intel i3 to i5, or my RAM from 4GB to 8GB.

I am absolutely clueless when it comes to power supplies, so if any of you could help it would be really appreciated :)

SPECS

Intel Core i3 3.30Ghz (Sandybridge)

OcUK ATI Radeon HD 6850 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

Gigabyte Z68AP-D3 Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard

Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit

1Tb Hard Drive

Yeh that should be fine mate, the draw on the PSU from the
6850 shouldn't be as bad as you would think and the other parts are
Standard sand bridge stuff so won't need that much.

PSU Calc says about 250W power draw, recommends 300W. I always recommend running the PSU at around 60% capacity as they get less efficient with age and they are both quieter and more efficient if not maxed out. 450-500W should be about right with plenty of headroom.

I had a HX450W run a HD6870 and much more power hungry kit, so would have thought a decent 400w can power than system.

I do like the XFX Core 450W, will be ordering one soon enough for a build!
