How much RAM will you go for when Nehalem is out?

As we will be getting triple channel DDR3 i was wondering if people will be going for 3GB, 6GB or 12GB RAM, at the moment i think i will be going 6, purely for the fact the DDR3 is still too expensive, so unless it drops in price dramatically soon il be going 6. What about everybody else?

DDR3 will drop quickly once Nehalem is out.
As it will suddenly become mainstream.
Supply and Demand.

I imagine 6 would be a sensible number, but I'll look into how much of a boost I'll get in all the 3d modelling apps I use first, and maybe splash out for 12.

I'm guessing Nehalem boards will have 6 RAM slots then?

If that's the case then I'll go with 3x 2GB to start with

I have 8 atm, a tad of a over kill I know, but I thought if I have 2 2gb sticks and 2 1gb sticks, the board may not use dual channal, so I got another 2 2gb sticks to be on the safe side.

You can still call it FSB but its like AMD64's there is no actual FSB its the HT (HyperTransport).

I think the initial samples were 133mhz. No idea about the final spec tho.

Probably 3x of the biggest sticks available at the time of upgrading

So i'm guessing 9GB, possibly 12GB if im feeling silly (also price dependant!)
