I find it's the getting up that is the killer for me, I always want to roll over and go back to sleep unless I've had 10+ hours. Once I've been up and moving for a few minutes I stop feeling tired. This is always the case for me no matter if I get 2 hours or 10, once I've been up for a bit I don't feel tired.

. I usually have to be pretty tired to fall asleep properly though. At the moment i'm generally going to bed at 1AM, and waking between 9-10AM. When I was at college, I would normally go to be 11PM and wake at 7:30AM; unless I knew I had a later start
. I do get grumpy if I don't have enough sleep, but either of those is ok for me (about 8 I guess)
