I might have to deliver my chameleon to plymouth at the weekend.

120mile round trip. How much would you add for delivery charge?

120 miles costs me about £15-£17 or so in petrol, but to be honest, you're delivering it to someone - they're going to think you're a right tool charging 40p a mile or something (£48, that's crazy!) - I'd feel cheeky asking any more than a tenner for delivery.

Well, not far off, its gone up a lot sure, but even the neon will still get 70 to 80 miles to a tenners worth.

126.9p for Vpower the other day, 4.54 ltrs in a gallon, car gets 30mpg, 120 miles £23 in fuel!

Granted he won't run V-power and he might not get 30mpg but even then i don't think £10 is enough doesn't even cover the cost of normal fuel, that would be £20 if he got 30mpg. assuming around 110p / ltr.

You realise it's not 79.9p/litre any more, right?

Yes, I have 2 cars, and feel the pain of filling them both, but i wasnt far off.

I said 15 quid assuming it was a tenners worth of fuel, the Neon would take 3 and a bit gallons, the zx would take 2.6. So 15 quid would cover it for petrol, and diesel in my case.
But its not a declaration of fact, i wouldnt feel comfortable going to someone and saying "thats £45 for delivery" is what I'm saying.
