How much to get a Remote Central Locking Kit Fitted?

As title, can anyone tell me a rough price, of how much it will cost to get a remote central locking kit fitted to a nissan micra (96)?

I think you can buy DIY kits for £40 or so from a high-street competitor.

If you had it installed it would probably be closer to £100.

I have found one for £30 but I would need it fitting so just a price for that is needed or a rough price anyway

By the way, I like your rover... I just had to get rid of mine as the clutch had gone and the clutch is more than the cars worth so its now gone

I am now stuck with a 1.0 litre micra because I need to save money on petrol and I need remote locking after having a rover lol

Best place to take it, is a car electrician. You should be able to get it fitted for under £50. It's not a hard job for someone who does it every day so shouldn't take them too long.

The one in my sig is my new car, a 220 GSi. Haven't picked it up yet. My current car is a 214 SEi... used to be absolutely mint too

Sounds very nice

Mine was a 216 SLi and to go with the saying in your sig, I beat many boy racers in their saxo's 106's and even faster cars such as a mazda rx8 and mr2's

I can't wait until im 25 so I can get a faster car and I have more money for the petrol hehe

That would have been a Honda engine wouldn't it?

Wouldn't it have been cheaper to fix the clutch than to get a Micra?

Fit it yourself. Will take you a few hours, but the only special tools you need are thumbs and a cup of tea every hour.

I had a quote of 80quid to fit a kit I bought to the wifes mx5 which didn't already have any kind of Central Locking

My 214's clutch went again today. The cost is around £140 INC.

Mines getting done on warranty as i only just had a new one fitted 2 months ago!
