How much to lay a patio?

I know a hooker that'll do anything for £50.

I laid my patio last summer approx 30 sqm with 900x600 slabs.

I founds the hardest part was getting the slope right on the first slab so it sloped away from the house. The rest went in pretty smooth after that.

if you use the string line method i mentioned in one of the posts above.
if you set the fall in the string line (eg. 4" fall away from house) and then when you lay your slabs, just make sure that the top of the slab is barely below the line, like 1mm,
then the slabs will have the same fall as the line. (ie. 4" fall away from house)
just use a spirit level to get the height of the slabs not directly below the line,
its hard to describe, but its quite easy if it was shown to you

also congrats on doing it.
it is hard work but i like being outside
