How much to maintain a 360 modena a year?

stay away from DB7, I looked at one before the 911, and they suck.

Stunning on the outside, ok on inside, but break lots..

spoke to a few owners, who arent 'chuffed'

one told me he had one for 7 weeks, brand new, it needed £11k of warranty work doing  and was off the road most of the time, he refused the car in the end and got a 3200GT instead.

Sl55 is a nice car.. Maseratis are ok, but he might be to 'old' again :|

Your only as old as you feel ;)

Mercs tend to be 'old mens' cars... SL / CL class

Or a Bently

im not an old bloke, lol, and for me out of these sorts of cars id be choosing between the merc SL, CL, and the Porsche 911, ferrari and the rest are just not reliable enough.

can anyone give an educated answer to this:

would a ferrari 456 or 575 cost more to upkeep than a 360?

sorry, im confused, whats wrong with the maserati?

if you buy the GT without the lame paddel shift box, then its a fine car.

and fine its difficult to slide apparentely, but when are you going to do that anyway. its a cruiser, not a thoroughbred racing car.

i think its an excellent, elegant work of italian art.

I would never buy a new maserati, ever. If I was going to buy an Italian sports car I think I know what one I would go for *hint, the sister company;)*

imo all of maserati's current line up, including their new and *most ugly* 4 door saloon are nothing special. They wouldn’t even make me look twice, hell if I was going specifically for a cruiser I would get something German.

When I looked at a Ferrari 308 GT4 as my next car *just love the design..* Was quoted by a Ferrari dealer that the basic service was £2500....*thud...*

Would have had to sell a kidney for the major service...

The old cars would take a lot more maintaining than the modern ones. However, you should have checked with some of the independant specialists, many of which are as good as (if not better) than the pukka dealers. When i was looking into 512BBi (5L, Flat12) I spoke with a lot of independants and for the type of car, I didnt think their servicing was OTT.

Having just had a quick look on google, I would suggest people look at http://www.hamletcg.co.uk/qv/offers.htm - some interesting pricing.

personally, if i could afford a 360 and no more, i wouldnt get it, not worth it in my opinion, its not enough car for the price and servicing costs. id wait till i could get a 575m, becuase thats more car, and the servicing costs are similar according to those member pages.

Well by the time my dad is in the situation to by a "fun" car, he will have a S500L, so a CL is too similar. SL would be a good one. Hes just told me that he would like to get an Etype and restore it.

thats 456 service costs, 575 are disgusting!

Hmm, e type, not really my favourite car, just not 'modern' enough, i know it's a classic but it just doesn't do it for me

TVR perhaps? Aston Martin would be a good bet, despite what people say, get a good example and you're laughing

:)

You can get a 200 plate 360 for £60-70k now tho. less for LHD :)

My Pork is nice, but I think I would take a F-Car over it..

But dunno between an X50 and an F-Car...

spose I would have to have both :P
