In the last 2 months around £2K in the last 3 years probably well over £10K. In the next 3 years probably around £1.5-2K per year as experience has taught me to hold off on most of the big price items until at least a month after release to allow for the pricing to settle down to a more natural level!!

Since May 07: £1892, that's just from OcUK. I've bought an Emu 1820m soundcard as well which was around £300, some monitors (speakers) that were around £200, I think that's about it.

around 2k ive only just started to get into the hardware side of ict so i havent spent much on parts, i bought the parts for my crrent rig last month, last year a laptop and can't remember how long ago i bought an eMac

Don't won't to think about even trying to justify it...
My only justification is that it's my hobby. Which probably isn't a justification in the eyes of others but hey! I'd happily give up spending on nights out if it meant I could afford a new motherboard or something.
