How much would it cost to get a Flasher Unit replaced?

My Honda Civic no longer flashes when I indicate. The light just stays on when indicating. My mate believes the flasher unit is broken causing it not to flash. Roughly how much would it cost to get replaced at a garage? Went into Halfords to see how much the part would cost, the guy said it would cost roughly £12 is it a easy fix if so I might as well have a go at trying to fix it myself.

Try a local motor factors as well, may be cheaper than Halfords for that kind of thing.

A flasher unit is just a push in relay, usually located around the steering column/in the plastic cowling. Its literally pull the old one out and push the new one in.

Get one from the motor factors tbh. Be cheaper than halfords. Look in a haynes for the exact location. My local library has them all in the reference section to look at / photocopy bits of.
