The other thread got deleted because i mentioned a Competitor, sorry for that but if i go to a second hand shop like the competitor i mentioned how much should i get for:

Best bet is to give them a ring, probably not much for some of the older ones. I assume they are all in good condition, boxed etc etc.

Are you hoping to get anything with them?

Firstly be a bit more patient.

Secondly, if you go into a shop with that lot - you will get some kind of derisory offer that is nowhere near worth taking.

Sell the stuff privately, in the local paper or online. You will get the money for your 360, and maybe even some left over for games and peripherals.

Between 2-12 per game, ones like Vice City are poor trade in but you may not get much more on the auction sites or in the paper. I would imagine you will get £100-£150 maybe more. Take it into town and try the various shops.

McDonalds, Burgerking, Subway would be a start.

I was thinking around £100. Whatever you add up mentally, if you offer it to a shop I guarantee it will always be less than what you want.
 
:( All that surely must be over £100, enough to get a used XBox 360! Any recommendations about where i should get the most dollars from (no competitors).

Yes, it IS worth more - you just wont get it from a shop.

As I said before, sell it privately.

I might do, any more recommendations lads, thanks Nismo. I hate it when people go to sell stuff that is easily worth over £100 only to get around £50 or something like that. :mad:

try your local paper or something similar.
 
Either auction sites or the Members Market might be an option, as I'd have thought you'd get more money from things separately than all in one package.

Why don't you just take it in and see what they offer or at least phone them up?

And the prob with selling privately is that you may not get much more in the free adds but you shoudl get more, and deffo not on the acution sites. If you were to put the whole lot in the free adds and assuming its all boxed and nice, you may see £130-£150.

You also have to wait for it to sell, if its priced right it should sell quickish, if its wrong then it will drag on.

He has only been here a month so can't use the MM, I was going to suggest that. uber post countage for a few weeks of forum use.

I'm going to phone a shop in town up tonight, see how much they offer, i know it will be less than i want but i will give it a go otherwise i will sell privately.
 
really a lot of that stuff is pretty worthless, what make is the steering wheel if its a cheapo one they might not even take it.

The only thing really worth anything is the ps2 itself. Listing things like the leads makes your list look big but if you really look at its stuff like fifa 2004 wont get much more than 50p (its 1 pound second hand).

Even stuff like mGS 2 is only sold for 2.99 so they will prob give you 1.70 or something. Id be suprised if that list made it to a 100. Its really just a case of how much for the consoe and the pad.


Some of your games they will sell for 7.99 or less and they will be on buy 4 for 20 quid so they will prob give you on average 3-4 pounds per game.

Im gonna guess at 80 pounds for the lot. Sorry.

I'd sell private. I can't bring myself to trade stuff in with the prices they offer you. I'd be less offended if they spat in my face to be quite honest!
