Seen on another forum, can't link to the exact thread, but i can link to the photo gallery they used.

Clicky Pickup car, swing it around, nearly drop it, swing it some more, put it down where it was, leave without the car. Not forgetting to put a ticket on it before and after

It can't be the first Merc they've lifted surely? :confused:

Idiots, I see them lift cars all the time and they do it so quickly in case the owner comes out, clumsy fools.

My guess is your screwed in terms of compensation too? I'd go livid if I came back to find my car in the air like that!

Looks like a huge amount of pressure would have been placed on the roof of the car where the cradle was touching it. Surely must have done some damage. Idiots.

Well there is visible damage on the roof, you can see it in a few of the pics, hope the guy will get comp'd.

The owner was present taking pictures whilst getting legal advice. He'll be able to take 'em to the cleaners. :cool:

what were they trying to do?

i take it, it was illegally parked and they wanted to move it? but why did they drop it in the road? or was it in the road and dropped in the bus stop (?)?

either way someones gonna get a new car....

edit - on second thoughts, would the owner be entitled to claim seeing as it was illegally parked? isn't there a disclaimer like parked at own risk etc?

Of course he's entitled to claim, destruction of car is a disportionate punishment for parking on double yellows for 10 minutes.
