How NOT to lift a '56 plate Merc- TfL style

Thats just crazy. I hope the owner does take them to the cleaners.

Looks like they have the arm to far towards the rear of the car. All the weight being at the front when they started to lift it. Surely, when its even half a foot off the ground, they would see the back end lifting up and the front end still planted to the floor. Simple, lower it down again and reposition the arm... Stupid fools.

Of course he's entitled to claim, destruction of car is a disportionate punishment for parking on double yellows for 10 minutes.

Don't be so sure about the disproportionate bit, this is Ken and his TfL stormtroopers we are talking about ;)

Saw this on the original forum the other day, and they really made a hash out of it. Then they have the nerve to place it back down where it was, and drive off.

Apparently the police were present but told the owner to sort it out with TFL.

Thing is they had parked up next to it before the meter had even run out, so the owner didn't stand a chance.
