So given that fuel largely rises in price, you have a fantastic opportunity to hedge your fuel spend for 6 months. Stop wasting this chance

I saw this on The Facebook which made me smile -

For years I would put £25 in but if I went 1p over I would then take it up to £30 and yes I had to go to £35 if I missed again. Now some people obviously will fill to the litre.
I overcame my petrol OCD about 2 years ago when I stood no chance of ever hitting a multiple of £5 so I decided to play a game with the pump which was to get it to about £24.97 and then to close my eyes and see how close I get to a multiple of 5 and accept that price.
So how do you fill up?
Do you do it in exact litres or exact pounds?
Or are you a man it will gladly put £27.43 in?
If however the amount of fuel did roll-over I'd be left with 10001 which as far as I'm concerned is an equally pleasing number.
You'd never get 10.001. Pretty sure you can't pump 4 millilitres out at a time?I've not read the whole thread, so sorry if that has already been said.
The OCD in me says go for it.
For a start the roll-over to $40.00 may not change the display on the amount of fuel - so a chance nothing will change.
