I've never really had an English education (if you look at my older posts before I installed a spell checker my spelling is literally atrocious) - due to the Tories messing about (experimental syllabus stuff, etc.) and the introduction of the National Curriculum my year at school fell through a crack and missed about 2 years of basic English lessons and later teachers decided it wasn't their job to catch us up. I left school (as did many in my year in the area) with no real knowledge of what things like adverbs and adjectives, etc. really were let alone how to use them (and still don't really).

You're focusing on the wrong part, forget the 'a bit' part, it has nothing to do with it, just saying "I'm OCD" is equally wrong, as it should be "I have OCD".

You can't be a disorder, you have a disorder.

It wasn't a big enough issue for it to be worth so many posts explaining anyway
