How often do you clean your oven?

It's the dreaded oven cleaning time again for me. I usually leave mine for a few months (read six) then reluctantly get on with it. Do you guys clean yours after every meal? Or is it a once-a-year kind of thing?

It's strange, but I'm very clean and tidy with the rest of the house, but I really can't be bothered with cleaning the oven!

(I thought there might be a thread on this already, but I can't find anything via the search function on this topic.)

I'd say every couple months, although the fact that ours has that incinerating cleaning function certainly makes it easier!

I have done it twice in the 2.5 years we have owned the oven.

Full on OvenBrite super clean which works great, but is a right ballache to do.

You're supposed to clean them?:o

Then again aren't these newer (mine is ancient) ovens supposed be lined with some sort of self cleaning material?

Never cleaned the oven in the 5 years I've been using it. Can't really see through the glass door any more. Just give it a blast at 250 once in a while.

Just leave the oven door open one day, our Winston will probably jump in and lick it clean for you!:D

Once a month the shelves/door will get a wipedown, every 3 or 4 months the proper cleaner will be given a use as well.
