How often need to replace an AIO?

That comparison is nonsense.

Pumps makes a humming noise similar to a fan but without air turbulence noise from fan blades.

Exactly how loud it is depends on a few things but the most important one is how fast it's spinning.
While I can understand your rational, you are not acknowledging the sound of moving water and radiator fans make. I was referring to aquariems with water pumps. Pumps almost identical to custom loop pumps of today and like the ones many of us old-time water coolers used before dedicated liquid cooling pumps were even sold .. that are almost the same pumps use today on custom loops.

You are right, the pump do make a humming noise, but most are still audible in a very quiet room .. louder than case & cooler fans are at idle.

Ask the many CLC users who are now using top tier air coolers which is quieter, air or AIO and they will tell you air cooling is quieter, especially at low load / idle.

Pumps make noise so unless you want the sound similar to having a aquarium in the room I advise against CLCs

You specified the pump. I reply about the pump. So you tell me I'm wrong because of the fan and the water

Aquariums are set up in many ways, bubbles, water trickling and pumps of all kinds. The comparison was worthless.

Then you go on for another two paragraphs completely off my point

You're like this every single time.

I said "pumps make noise." And in my aquarium at night the only sound is the pump running as it circulates and filters the water.
I'm not talking about cheap bubble system aquariums.
And most CLC fans are much louder than top tier air coolers costing 1/2 to 2/3rds what CLCs cost.

It seems all you have posted is nonsense .. maybe trying to troll me down to your level.

I'm talking about the way you desperately spam hard the same lines in any thread about AIO.

3/4 of what you have been posting is pretty much a copy paste from every previous thread and more specifically, I didn't mention it, you simply were compelled to copy paste it again.

I post to say describing a pump as an aquarium noise is ridiculously vague and imprecise.

So we go down the list of "stuff Doyll predictably posts no matter what" and see which ones came up again:

a) Buy an air cooler

b) Buy an air cooler it's cheaper than AIO

c) Buy an air cooler it's quieter than AIO

d) I bought an AIO, but buy an air cooler

It was a post about the horrible comparision of an AIO to an aquarium and yet you still manage to crowbar some of those lines in.

Maybe you always will be like this.

If you don't like my posts the simple solution is don't read them. :D

But now you are making false / out of context claims by saying 'I bought an AIO'.
The AIO I have is I own a be quiet! Silent Loop 280mm and I got it for about half the price of a D15. I like be quiet! Silent Loop 280mm because it runs almost as quiet as top tier air coolers .. but if you put your ear about a foot away from pump you can hear it .. about as loud as an idling fan. But I would not pay more for one than what a top tier air cooler costs .. because a top tier air cooler will cool as well, be just as quiet, last longer and most of all because the price is lower.

The only AIOs (and CLCs) I own are test samples. I have never bought a CLC or AIO.

The only AIO (not CLC) I have is be quiet! Silent Loop 280mm.

Yes, I post the truth over and over and over again .. and people who do not know the truth argue with me about it (like you are here) until the replace their CLC with a top tier air cooler .. and then they post up saying how much quieter their new air cooler is compared to their old CLC .. and have same and sometimes lower temps then they had with CLC.

That is the truth.

The reason CLCs are so popular is because of how often their marketing hype and marketing review hype has made less then true claims about their performance and noise levels. Advertising is about getting people to buy, not about truth. ;)

The truth needs to be repeated often .. at least as often as all the false claims about AIO's are posted. ;)

I pull a point you made about a pump, you reply in a very strange way then immediately go off topic to copy paste a random selection from this list:

a) Buy an air cooler

b) Buy an air cooler it's cheaper than AIO

c) Buy an air cooler it's quieter than AIO

d) I bought an AIO, but buy an air cooler

I've seen you posting before and patterns are obvious when seen enough.

It's like a bizzare marketing campaign with a crazy twist that undermines itself.

But you're telling me I shouldn't be reading the reply you sent to me or highlight that your posting behaviour is predictable and repetitive.

Yes, I post the truth over and over and over again .. and people who do not know the truth argue with me about it (like you are here)

But when we go up the page... what I said was about your terrible pump and aquarium comparison...

There was no opportunity to get into a cooler comparison.

There was no mention of coolers.

Yet you post about coolers anyway when talking to me, say there's an argument about coolers and you're defending the "truth".

Yes, I think you are in fact always like this.

Sigh ..
As I have said, if you don't like my posting (I don't copy/paste, I do type it from memory), the simple solution is don't bother reading them.

If you don't have the will power to not read my post, there is a simple feature in forum you can click on and you won't even see my posts. :p

Sure that makes sense, ignore the person I quoted and replied to.

You could simply screw your head on straight so when I quote regarding a pump comparison you don't head bizarrely off into a cooler comparison and start repeating lines as if I brought it up.

You complain about what I post. This thread is about coolers, specifically how log AIOs last. All of my posting (except arguing with you) is about coolers and AIO. I honestly don't care if you like what I post or not. In fact I don't care if my posts make you raging mad and unable to sleep at night. Almost all AIOs sold are CLCs and of marginal quality. Most if not all make more noise then air coolers of similar cooling ability, cost more, are no easier to install, don't last as long, and if they fail there is no cooling until a new cooler is installed. With an air cooler the only thing to fail is the fan/s and cooler still cools with whatever fan is handy until suitable replacement is found. You can use CLCs, I don't care. But as they are now I'm not using nor do I plan to use any. Have a good day. I

Absolutely unbelievable.

You do understand you're quoting and replying to me, someone who has not mentioned the coolers you're lecturing thin air about.

I have said zip diddly about cooler comparisons and yet it's an endless spiel from you as if I did.

It's not keeping me awake, I'm finding it amazing that someone can be so far off the handle to start then keep then argue a one man conversation about coolers going in replies to someone who has not brought up the subject or encouraged you at any point on it.

Maybe I'm not that amazed. I have a grandparent not too far off 100 and he's quite difficult to talk to but I know he's old so I can understand that. I don't know the same for you.
