how often should one change his psu

just wanted to know i have been using a 875w thermaltake psu for 3 years now is it safe to sli gtx 780ti's

When the connectors don't put your lastest motherboard / hardrive / GPU / etc etc it time to change..

I would Also recommend it a good time to change the PSU if smoke / fire / sparks comes out of it
