Well, it's coming up to a year since my work machine has been running Windows 7 (successfully).

Had a disagreement with a developer of when he installed his x64 version and had to prove him wrong. (Srs business).

So, what is your Windows 7 install date?

Work computer: 16/11/2009

Home : 31/01/2010
(I was running at least during the RC phase but I had to format/reinstall when I upgraded this year).

(CMD--> systeminfo | find /i "install date" )

14/02/2010

That was the day I built my current PC! :p

Ran the RC and BETA up until that point on the previous machine. My laptop has had 7 since October 2009.

About a month ago. But I had my retail copy sitting on my desk pretty much since the day it was released. I'm just that lazy! :p

I can't believe it's been nearly four months since my last game of Russian Roulette with the MS telephone activation lady. A series of Mobo changes during the early part of the year must have alerted The Man and he decided I was up to no good and made my copy of Win 7, suspect... :(

Original Install Date: 21/08/2009, 18:40:05

\m/

I've had the "IE-free" version installed before this though for about 3-4 months.

At work we've just rolled out Win7 x64 Enterprise edition, my machine was the first machine I installed it on for testing and everything is super :p

Thread rocks, I was just wondering if I could get Windows to tell me how old it was earlier.

Since 6/2/2010 on my laptop.... format straight out of the box.

Doesn't seem to work for me, says it doesn't recognize the command, any ideas ?

27/08/2010 for me.

But that was a fresh install. I have actually been using Windows 7 since beta :p (Early 2009). Been using proper retail Windows 7 since September 2009 I think (via uni program).
