How old is too old too go too university? Im 20 and feel as if i've missed the oppertunity...Its something I really regret. Is it still a possibility too go? I just cant imagine me not bringing home the money from work that I do now

How old where you when you went too uni?

20's definately not too old i'm 21 just starting my masters but on my degree course I had friends in their later 20's,30's and 40's. It really doesn't matter you'll find a fair amount of people are around that ages imho.

No one is ever too old for uni.

When I was at uni we had people my age (18 when i started) Mid 20's 30's and even 40's.

You'd be surprised how many older people are at uni.

Depends on the course you do, really. I have a friend who did a course (at 18) and she was the youngest by far! Some people work in an industry for many years then go back to uni to get qualifications that allow the to move higher.

But on a 'more normal' course you'll be fine at 20 :)
However you may get annoyed by the general childishness you'll see from 18 y/os who have just come out of school, can now drink and just got free money from the state! (as in a loan)

Some people don't start uni until they are 20, one girl in my flat is starting another course at uni and she is 20 and another was 21.

20 is extremely young, I think I read somewhere that the average starting age for uni was actually about that, instead of 17/18 like most people think. If anyone says no to uni because they thought they were too old for it at 20 then frankly they don't deserve to go there and should flip burgers instead. I'll have a Big Mac please.

Like the old saying goes, "you're never to old to learn". I was 30 when I went to university.
