How sharp are you when it comes to purchases?

Its the 'Post Boxing Day pre New years eve sale to end all sales bonanza'

to make way for the ' C'mon we've still got tonnes of these left over New Year Event'

Ahhh I best get on down there then!

Yes, according to the website there are just days left.

However, one could also take this as just days left until the next one.

I doubt it, pretty rare they have a sale :D

I've never had any issues from Harveys? ??!?!

My sofa took months longer than it was meant to be, customer service was terrible, they didn't want to know, etc...

Well the prebuilt sofa is £711 delivered when i checked so i think you're doing something wrong anyway :P

With that in mind i'd say sharper than you :P

Corner Sofa.....Nabru.

Delivered next day..Took two hours to build and really comfy. Can change the color if we want for less than £300 So if the wife wants to change decor next year we wont have to buy a new sofa

Indeed.

They do have delivery dates that are on the longer side (8-12 weeks) but every other similar type of store has 6-8 week delivery anyway. It's hardly the car crash situation the earlier poster made out.

I research everything I buy way too much. I miss the days when I'd just pop into Argos and then come away a few mins later with what I wanted.

I'm razor sharp when it comes to deals and purchases, I got a deal like you wouldn't believe on some magic beans and some investments that will no doubt pay off in a big way with a Nigerian prince.

Harvey's are a complete joke.

Ordered a sofa two years ago, delivery day came, went called up and one of their drivers was being disciplined so didn't deliver ... stay clear.

I'm thinking about buying some trainers from Sports Direct - am I beyond help?

If they're "street wear" then knock yourself out.

But SD don't sell proper running trainers as far as I can see. Mostly their own brand Karrimor stuff (no idea if it's any good, suspect it's as good as the knock-down pricing suggests ;))

Also don't buy from them out of principle; SD's horrible working conditions are well documented. And he owns Newcastle - enough reason in itself to hope he goes under ;)
