I've been thinking about this a bit more and I reckon a version of the homemade potato cannon and a brick wall would work quite well. Bonus points if you make a video of it at the same time. Or drill 4 holes in it, attach wires, attach cars facing at the compass points and then drive off to 'quarter' it as in old style executions.

It's a wireless mouse, I doubt they'd accept that as you'd still have a working mouse. All it'd take is another receiver to get it going again

bit off subject but an mx1000? i have a one myself but there like 3 years old arnt they? is it a lifetime warrenty or something?

I'm asking as mine has that random reset bug that they lied to us all about were the mouse jumps to the botom/top of the screen randomly in both 2d and 3d... they said on their known issues forum that it was incompatability with some PCs but thats a lie....

Depends when you bought it, they only stopped making them a few months ago.

It is a lie because they told users in their help and support section that some motherboards are incompatable with the mx1000 and users will notice the mouse jumping to the bottom of the screen. They said the fix would be to use the ps/2 port instead of the usb. and yes this does fix it.

However now I have tried this mouse in god knows how many systems over the years and it still has the issue in every single one.

The truth is that the mouse was never incompatable with some systems (or as logitech likes to put it "the system incompatable with the mouse") they just made a balls up and had a faulty batch of god knows how many units and rather than accept thousands of RMAs they respan it and posted a work around. A respin which i asumed to be truthful until after what i would consider a years warrenty period.

Do you know the kind of quality of play you loose with an 800dpi mouse running from a ps/2 port?

Do you have any idea how annoying it is when you nade your own feet in counterstrike?
