How should I set up my fans?

Right here is a poor pic of my case, does the job though:

I have two Yate Loon D12SL-12 fans on my rad. They are mounted uppermost pulling air from the inside of the case.

Bottom left (ie at the bottom front of the case) I have another Yate Loon D12SL-12 pulling air in. Directly behind are my HDD mounting cages which contain 4x36GB Raptors, 1xSeagate 500Gb and 1xWD Caviar 250GB.

Rear of the case (above the PSU) there is a Lian-Li 12cm fan drawing air IN.

The PSU inlet is at the bottom (there is about 5-6mm gap between the PSU and the bottom of the case.

I set the fans up like this as I though that it would give the best airflow however I'm not so sure anymore.

I'm open to suggestions as to how I can improve the airflow and as such the temperatures of my components.
 
stick with how it is probably, have you got the side fan that lines up with the graphics card? - it might help, but you'd have to try it out.
 
No mate, there are no mounting holes on the vent either for it. If I put my hand over it I can feel it pulling a small amount of air in though.

My main concern is that I have 4X1Gb sticks, the NB and SB to keep cool. GFX and CPU temps are fine (CPU is a little high though, but I think warm air is being pulled through the Rad).
 
No thanks mate, I'd rather replace the fans then chop up my case. I run them off a Zalman Controller so can turn down insanely loud ones if needed.
 
There's a Zalman Fan Controller above the CD drive. In addition I'm getting a BlueRay drive so I don't think there'll be enough room.
 
Wouldnt it be better having the fans on the rad blowing air IN from outside, it would be cooler then resulting in better temps. Ive also read somewhere(cant remember off the top of my head) that the V1000/1200/2000 benifit from postive presure in the case so air is forced out of the holes or something like that.

Thanks, never thought of that, but wouldn't the resultant air be warm?

With regards to the holes, yes there's loads front and back of the case. I might do a little work tonight and do some temp logs at the current overclock (minor at 3.2).

Yeah the air will be warm, but hopefully with the rear 120mm fan blowing air forwards it wont travel towards your components and go straight out of the holes in the front, although im not a physics guru so i may be wrong
