How the 6700K should have been.

Not because you also need a minimum of a £350 processor, £200-£250 motherboard and four sticks of RAM rather than two :p

You don't need four ram sticks on X99. You can run a system with one if you want...

You can run dual channel memory and suffer pretty much no performance loss...

Feature laden X99 and Z170 boards are fairly price comparable which just leaves the current price difference in favour of the 6700k over the 5820k....

This was of course not always the case with stock shortages pushing the 6700k up to not far of £400 whilst the 5820K was available for sub £300

Hitting close to 100% use isn't a good sign. It shows the CPU is struggling with the task.

Or just being fully utilised for the task in hand... the problems is more when running a game or app that should tax both the GPU and CPU and one is struggling whilst the other idles...
