HOW THE f%$^&£$&^

Horrible level, just watch a youtube video and keep going. The game is worth up until the penultimate level, which was the worst level I've ever experienced on a video game. Ever.
 
anyway .....
i did an unlimited ammo an god mode to get me through it in the end.
on to some snow level now.

its a strange game graphics wise.
its mainly very good but i find a lot of the graphics clumbsy and flickery at times.

i7 2600
8 gigs ram
GTX 5600ti (latest drivers)

is that just how the graphics are?
also i have warhead to play after this, is that a better game and are the graphics updated as well?

PS- playing this maxed out. no mods.

This - actually felt like a proper alien environment. It was supposed to be confusing and unnerving, loved every minute of it.
 
I thought the floaty around level was pretty intriguing and well executed on the whole, the bit after (going through the snow before whatshisface froze to death) was a bit shabby, but one of very few SP games I've finished in recent years.
 
To be honest it was pretty easy. There's visual cues the whole way through the alien section to point you in the right direction. Never saw what the fuss was about.
