How to adapt to Metro, made easy.

Yes, press the power button, amazingly this will shut down the PC, it has done for a long time:D

How do you do it remotely? Usually on RDC you can use ctrl-alt-end and shut the remote computer down from there. Now it just lets you log out?

Security policy can be changed so you can't remote shutdown a PC. Try shutdown -s from the cmd prompt and see if that works.

I get it fine, I just don't see it as an issue, or the issue is far less than the benefits.

Can you really focus on two things a one and type on two things at one?
There is need to multitasking on same screen. But I can't see searching being one of the.

Have to say this is a handy feature if your following a guide of how to do something on a website you don't want to keep bringing up the whole start screen.

I see these as minor niggles though which i'm sure will be sorted out.

I'd like the Metro split screen to be a bit more useful. It seems that some apps don't display anything when they are in 1/3 mode which is pretty useless - might as well just have them hidden.

I can't wait to give this a try on a full touch screen though - it really seems well designed for it and i can see this having a big impact on how i work.
