My parents have just bought a new separate fridge and freezer (each about 5 cu ft), as the old combined unit never worked properly in the location it is.
This allows each unit to have a separate compressor which they don't do in combined fridge freezers anymore.
When they bought them, the guy in the shop said the freezer should be placed on top of the fridge if stacking. The problem with this is that my mum will have trouble getting at the top freezer drawer like this.
Can anyone advise which way around the two should be arranged, so that the heat/cold from one does not affect the other?
