Try injecting FXAA as opposed to SMAA.

Been using this for a little bit now and have now stopped using the in game settings for vsync, tesselation, fxaa,Smaa is this what I should be doing or will I find using the in game settings will work better(aka more pretties!)?
My settings:
5. Is there much benefit/need to make radeon pro to change the aero setting to basic for windows display?

Thankyou Chris
ive found out that u can link all your games to one profile if you wish by adding your games to triggers each trigger is a ptha for your game so u can add as many as you wish ive just add all my games to the trigger menu so one profile activates for all my games.

any info from the above that anyone could provide would be much welcomed at the mo my settings are:

visual

anti alising ticked with overide application settings chosen x4

smaa ticked ultra selected

ambient oclusion ticked hbao selected ultra selected

anti alising ticked multisampling(box) chosen

tesselation control ticked 4x chosen

advanced

all boxes ticked

texture filtering ticked set on high

mip map ticked set on high

texture LOD ticked set to -0.4

tweaks

vsync control set to dynamic

60hz refresh rate

disable aero ticked

sweet fx enabled

launcher set to steam

does this seem okay? is there anything more i should do? should i set things higher like tesselation and and anti alising above 4x?

Just wanna know that I'm using the program correctly and using the correct settings thanks for any help much appreciated.

P.s. i just tried loading the game without launching it via radeopro, and it showed that all the settings were enabled! would this be true settings? or fauls. i turned aa in game to 4x to make it look better, which it did, but kills the smoothnes of the game!
I have a good pc! just can't stand jaggie line lol

Same again, that way only worked once, now same error after trying a 2nd time,
and thats running it with out lauching via radeonpro lol.
Oh well.
Ok what will be the best way to run bf3? best thin to use to get the best smooth game play and look good :)

Cheers.

You guys might think me a noob for saying this but I cant get away with FXAA.It blurs the edges too much for me.What would be your recommendation for aa at 1400p?

I use Radeon Pro but see no difference in BF3? Its very smooth to start with, so what CPU do you have?

The main game this fixes for me is Skyrim.

Im still waiting for CCC to use the Radeon Pro options as it should be easy to implement.

I answered this for you earlier.
Aero: Aero uses a lot of VRAM. depending on how much video RAM the game uses, windows may decide you are low on ram, and drop you back to windows to ask if you want to switch off aero. If you use radeonpro to disable aero in the most demanding games (or all of them!), this own't happen. Plus the games might run a bit smoother.

In game settings vs RadeonPro: which is best varies with the game. There's no universal correct answer. Most games do anti-aliasing better than than the catalyst or nvidia drivers do (RadeonPro uses the catalyst driver unless you using an injector). However, some games do it badly, and also, some games give no AA option at all. In those cases you can try forcing it in the driver (using RadeonPro, but it still might not work. It depends on the way it's coded.
Injectors provide extra manual options to force specific types of AA, and again, may not work perfectly with each game.
That's just AA - similar issues occur with VSync too.

The general rule is: try using in-game settings first. If they aren't satisfactory, then try Radeonpro.
The exception: if Radeonpro provides settings that the game doesn't let you set, then create a profile in RadeonPro for that game and witch those settings on.

There are some settings that can easily be set as global options in Radeonpro (like adaptive vsync, and switching aero on). But most of the main graphical options, you should be fiddling with in game first.

cant get this working on BF4, even the OSD isnt showing

No doubt ive missed an apply button some where
