How to change Excel and Word Desktop Icons ?

How to change Excel and Word Desktop Icons ?

Compared to the other customised Icons on my desktop Word and Excel look poor..... I cannot though work out how to change them.

Does anyone know how to and also are there any better Icons available for them ?

Can you not right-click > Properties > Customise and then select a different icon for them?

yeah those icons are sweet but the "Change Icon" option isn't available on either Excel or Word as for any other shortcut..... there must be a way around it surely ?

just create your own shortcuts. then you can change the icon.
