Hey guys,

How do you change the rear brakelight bulb on a hatch ford focus. The housing/lens cover has one screw holding it, which I have undone but the lens cover does not want to come off. Am I missing anything?
Thanks in avance guys :)

Dont you normally do it from inside the boot?

You should see a cover inside your boot directly behind the lights, pull that out and you can unscrew the bulb from the bracket.

It should be a square shaped panel behind the light .

Open this and pull the bracket out with all the rear lights attatched

Yes, there's a plastic bolt holding a thread which comes from the back of the light housing into the boot area. It's behind some plastic cowling, but there should be an open access hole you can get your hand through. Once you've unscrewed this (which takes ages, its a very long thread) and the screw you've already undone, the light cluster should lift out.
