Hi all,
Can some1 help?
i'm trying to install Windows Server 2012 R2 Datacenter, and i'm being prompted that the Administrator account password does not meet the password security requirements:
Just as i figured out the not optimum mode recommended mode 1280x1024 60hz problem, i got the Administrator account password problem.

The thing is, now since Windows Server hasn't even been installed yet, there is no administrator who has set anything.

So what i need is someway to alter the Windows Server 2012 password complexity requirements before a server has been installed (i.e. before i can configured the password complexity requirements).

How do i alter the Windows Server 2012 password complexity requirements, to meet my password complexity requirements - before installing Windows Server 2012?

:(:(

Why can't you remove the complexity requirement after the installation is finished?

Use a password such as &Billy666Gates111Rocks999My555World# to get through the installation.

I'm not sure if you even can remove the complexity requirements before installing as it requires tweaking the policies - which aren't yet on the system.

As above, just create a password to meet the requirements, complete the install, and then remove the requirements.

The default password policy requires 1 uppercase and 1 number. I've always used Password1 just to get things going, then change it once I can get to ADUC or whatever.

Just give the admin account a strong password. Then just make other accounts for whatever you need to do everyday and leave the main Admin account for major adminning tasks.
