How to choose mechanical keyboard

Been using a std keyboard and looking for a mechanical version to play BF4 and LoL.

There seems to be wide choice now in makes and also key types black/brown/red/blue.

After a quick read my shortlist is Ducky Shine II, CM Trigger, G710+, Corsair k70.

I think brown keys seem reasonable compromise for all round use, but as yet no experience.

I would like to try them before buying but this seems difficult as can only go to one of the big tech sheds, which doesnt stock all these makes.

If you do go to a big tech shed call them first to see that they have them on display. I visited one recently to test keyboards out and they had no mechanicals on display and wouldn't open a box to test one...
