How to clean the inside of your PC?

Can of air or vac. Turn PC off. I found it easier to completely remove the heatsink (freezer 64 pro) to suck dust out. Remove fan too, as air blowing / sucking can cause it to rotate faster than it's supposed to and maybe break it (or start making a noise).

My next case (likely P182) will have just 1 case fan at the front + filter to control dust.

Have one of these in my garage.
Really helpful in dusty situations :D

Best clean method

I have always found that dropping the whole pc to the floor from a height of about 3 feet usually shakes all the dust loose, Then all you have to do is take ths side off and tip out all the loosened dust along with bits of circuit board and other non essentials..:-)

This isn't so much inside as outside the PC. Thought I'd be smart one time and tried hoovering some crumbs that fell between the keys of my keyboard. Within about 1/10 a second half the keys had disappeared from my keyboard!

As I searched through the hoover bag for various letters what could I do but laugh at such a really stupid supposedly 'quick fix' idea! :)

ROFLMAO :p

I use a fine nylon paint brush which i stole from my school's art dept 5 years ago, and an air duster, which i have to pay for unfortunately :(.

I use a small brush and the hoover, never had any problems. But I don't let the hoover near the RAM. I remove the RAM first, and just blow over that as hard as I can, it is enough, and then re-fit.

get your dog to push your motherboard in a sink of water for 30 seconds

then leave it in airing cupboard for 3 weeks, still working fine in my brother's pc :D

Mine doesn't get too dusty, but you just need to take it outside and let rip with spray can air :D
