How to connect / organise HDDs....

I am building a new system for my old man and have hit a block on how I will arrange the following:

Mobo is a P8P67. It has 2x Intel P67 SATA 6GB connectors and 1x Marvell SATA 6GB connector.

Storage drives are:

BOOT: Corsair Force GT 160GB SATA3
2x WD30EZRX 3TB SATA3 - One will be for storage and the other will act as an internal backup drive for both the other two drives.

So my question is, how can I arrange these to make use of all three 6GB ports on the mobo (if possible) and what is the best way to set them up? I am not sure that just plugging in to the Marvell port will recognise the drive?

Cheers

Use the Corsair and the WD for storage on the Intel connections and the WD for backing up on the marvell.

You will need software backup, as their is no raid setup for backing up from two harddrives onto one for the mobo.

You can just tell Windows to do periodic backups and tell it to use the HD your using for backups.

Hi Med.

Should the second WD just work PnP into the Marvell port or do I need to do anything with it?

Software backup can do - Nice and easy then.
