How to Connect VGA Monitor to HDMI Output

How can I connect a VGA monitor to a HDMI output, surely a VGA to HDMI cable wont work as its analogue to digital?

A few reviews on this sort of thing say it isn't working as its analogue to digital.

You can only use a DVI to VGA adapter if it's a DVI-I or DVI-A connector as they includes an analog signal, they don't convert from digital to analog.

The monitor is VGA only and the output of the PC is HDMI only.

Can I do HDMI to DVI and then DVI to VGA ?
 
Im doing it to have x2 off screens which are VGA, my centre is a HP w2408h 16:10.

So just trying to find a way to connect three cards to one Nvidia card, but this has been resolved as I can use my 2600K and use the HDMI out on my motherboard, but need to find a way to connect to it.
