How to connect ?

Anyway, back to the subject of the thread, I have seen cathode tubes which require an inverter, and cathode tubes which do not. If you can, try to confirm with the person who gave it to you whether or not it needed one, ask him how he connected it, or search the model online :)

Aye.

I don't mind the banter Hono but everytime I make a comment your straight reaction is to tell me to **** off.

Oh no... Looks like I'm not the only one to have a disagreement with hono.

I remember about 6 months ago, I was offering CORRECT advice to a guy on his router and all hono could do was tell me how wrong it was bla bla bla. For the record... I was right.

To add... Everyone edits their posts, there's no shame in it. There's certainly no need to go pointing it out to make th person, in this case Stulid, look stupid. It appears to be very much an ego thing and I agree... Pathetic point scoring.

However! Hono for 99% of his posts is bang on with advice and appears very clued up. He's certainly not as pedantic as a certain forum member I won't name who is the most sarcastic smug know it all who just loves to correct you all the time and takes great pleasure in it. I won't name names of course.

No need to. I know exactly who you mean. :D

I edit my posts about 4 times after i'm done post them because I am an idiot and I don't read them properly :p

I'm pretty sure there are forum rules against openly ****ging off other forum members in plain sight of them though :p

Come on guys, 2/3 of the posts in here are irrelevant, so lets get back on track. Enough with the petty quabbaling.

@ OP, all the cold cathode lights I have googled come with an inverter. Do you know what make or model it is. You could just buy another strip and get the inverter. Most inverters allow you to connect 2 strips.
