How to cook Fillet Steak?

The best steak Ive ever had was cooked slowly in a pan so it was really tender, then slapped into a crusty balm cake/ t-cake/ bun (depending on where your from).

We were working in this womans house and my mate unplugged her freezer to plug a drill in and forgot to plug it back in. Unlucky for her she had a big slab of expensive steak in there, luckily for us she couldn't eat it all herself :D .

I think the best I've ever had was at a diner in upstate New York. Cooked to perfection on a griddle with tomato-scrambled eggs and a basket of fries. The steak itself was huge, about ani inch thick and the size of a plate.

Very simple, very tasty and only about £7!

Re. the garlic comments you can take it out the pan before it burns you know :D
