How to create PS2 Action Replay DIVX discs

I read somewhere on the web that it is possible to create discs containing DIVX playback software and movie files for a PS2, using Action Replay.
Can anybody shed any light on this, ie explain what is envolved in getting DIVX to play on PS2.

Correct. If it doesn't involve modding the console in any way I'll let it run, otherwise it'll be closed.

I found out a little about it. The Action Replay comes with software that lets you create discs that will play on a normal playstation. No modding required.

Are you sure its not just a program that converts divx files to dvd format for use in the dvd player

Could do that, but a program that just burnt a disc with the PS2 loader with divx player plus some divx files would be much quicker then encoding DVDs.
Just wondering if anyone had ever done that. Should be possible.
