How to delete PSN of a console you no longer have? *URGENT*

I have just realised after selling my PS3 that I left my PSN ID on the system, Does anyone know how to remove it or disable the account as I have a credit card linked to the account and auto sign-in.
 
Id call Sony. imagine it is the only way. Or cancel the card and get a new one with a different CC number.
